Buy from Tire Rack. Install at Discount Tire.
They're owned by the same company now, but Tire Rack includes 2 year road hazard, full replacement rather than pro-rated. I've used it 4 times and it's relatively painless. Discount Tire's free road hazard is pro-rated, or you can buy certificates for full replacement.
Uhhh so I just bought a HiSense U75 75" TV from Costco and did not think to check SD for a BF ad... it is going on sale for $200 less than what I paid as of Nov 11. What should I do? Would it work out OK if I just go ahead and install the TV now but not activate the warranty, then buy it again once it goes on sale and return the unopened box (basically pretending that I'm returning my first purchase even though physically it is the second TV I bought), and then activate the newer warranty? Would they be looking at which S/N TV was returned and if it matches the right purchase?
Check if the TV has a serial number. For high ticket items, Costco might check and match that. Because, you could buy a TV, accidentally break it and all you need to do a buy a new one to return the broken one, if it's within 90 days. Also, how do you like the TV?
Well people who are expecting stellar Costco deals are probably new.
Costco never cares much about black Friday they usually have boring deals.
I am expecting a good MacBook deal this time.
Why not? For labor day, I went to DT and the best they would do is price match Costco, but they didn't include the Road Hazard warranty that is included in the Costco price so I get them from Costco despite their lame $60 dollar discount for 4..
The service is the reason you don't get then from Costco. Discount Tire has you in and out. Costco you are waiting, waiting, waiting from the moment you make the appointment to when you finally get the keys back. All stages of the process is a frustrating shitshow
I made an appointment at Costco for 9:30AM and they were done before 10.
Make your appt for first thing in the morning and you won't be waiting.

I did my research for dishwasher and Samsung products were mostly having negative comments online. Went with GE in the end and it's working fine for last three months
I got a Samsung DW like 10 years ago and it's still working fine.

I've religiously bought from discount tire direct for years and had installed at my local DT. For my most recent purchase I've noticed they don't offer the same fabulous deals I've been getting in the past since DTD no longer exists. Actually got my best deal from Sam's and they installed in under a half hour with a scheduled appointment. Always have to shop around.
