Hardly "Random". It's not like they're just some guy that created an eBay store that he operates in his garage. EE has been around for 40 years, with 20 stores in the SE USA, and been selling online for 25 years. They're also one of the retailers that is widely used on Green Toe.

The reason why no one really bought the C3 was due to the fact that the ABL cannot be turned off. Not even in the service menu. The constant shifting of brightness especially while gaming and movie watching was the issue.
