Anyone have experience with Toro cordless blowers? This seems like a decent deal, but I don't know much about how much Toro's typically go on sale.

I missed the Ego 765 for $230 a few weeks ago and I'm in need of a blower so I'm wondering if it's worth taking a flyer on this and saving the $80.

I purchased this system when hd cleared them out. The blower has a trigger and a tornado button. The batteries are really expensive and some people have issues with them failing within the 3 yr warranty. But they have a 3 yr warranty and there are aftermarket batteries available. Batteries fail due to the controller not the cells. The blower is fine. The chainsaw is awesome. Generally, speaking gas vs battery, the chainsaw is much better battery due to safety, trying to climb a tree with a running chainsaw or trying to start it in the tree. No comparison. Everything else sucks vs gas. I have a small lawn and I burn through batteries like crazy. My 27 year old mower still works and does the job for 50 cents of gas. The batteries are like 300 to 400 (150 aftermarket) and only have 3 yr warranty. I can still buy gas for the mower but don't think these batteries will still be available in 10 years. If they were it works out to much more than 50 cents a cut in gas.

Thank you, I appreciate the insight. I have a $200 pre-paid debit gift card that I can only use at retailers so I was thinking of applying it towards both the blower and a string trimmer (screenshot). Those are the two items that I would use the most around my property and if I end up spending less than $100 out of pocket for hopefully a minimum of 3 years then I think I could get by.

With the "deals", I'd get both a 4aH and 2.5aH battery which at least gets me two so I can rotate them out if I burn through one while working. I really would like to avoid gas only because I am not a fan of the maintenance aspect and the plug-and-go of electric seems convenient. I don't have a huge property, so maybe I can get by with battery their battery system for a few seasons.

I have this blower. Really like it. I would not use it to blow a yard full of leaves, but I sweep the garage, sweep the pickleball courts, blow the grass off of the riding mower, etc

Thank you for the info. How do you think it'd do at some leaves in the yard? I don't think I'm looking for it to clear a full yard, but pushing some leaves around and into piles would be nice to help with some raking.
I'm looking at picking up the string trimmer too, as mentioned above, so maybe I get into the Toro line for 3 years and milk any warrantied issues that might come up.
