Not certified obviously. Slow charging.

Probably great for those looking to get the battery health level below 80% quick…

Slow charging is better for battery life.

I have an apple watch series 3 that I got back in 2020 that's still kicking. I've looked at getting an extra charger for work but ended up just caving and getting an official Apple one when it wasn't too much of a ripoff. Most of the watch stand types that I looked at just had a spot to put in a charger, which leads me to believe that it's not so easy to make one (compared to like a full Qi charger). I remember looking at a 3rd party one and there were complaints about it getting very hot and I see one review in German amongst the tons of obvious fake ones that also had this problem.

China has made some breakthroughs there. Also I think Apple is letting the tricks to that leak out.

Samsung and Google are embracing Qi watch charging, and two way power transfer... Phones wirelessly charging their watches.

I think Apple knows they're now on the backfoot, which is why these cheap clone chargers are just now emerging.

Mine was delivered this morning. Charges 20-100% in about an hour. I'm using it with an older 1amp 5v Apple block. Doesn't seem to get hot or have any oddities. All in all I'm quite happy with it
