This is an OK deal for someone who has no mesh and wants to extend to outdoors however it's not what I would recommend. Correction this one outdoor x50 is a good deal since it goes for over $100 alone, and also POE switch so you can run a single wire to outdoor access point.

Also for indoors instead of x25, I would recommend X55 or something newer but again this is in no way a great upgrade over any other mesh.

I used nighthawk mesh before this and even X55 mesh was not an upgrade over older nighthawk cubes I also had bought from Costco.

Deco does not have usable web interface so you have to use the app for basic tasks and the options it gives you are very limited it nags people to buy additional services and the weekly reports and other details are not usable at all. No advance user should consider these unless they revamp their app to give more functionality.
I have 2 of the nodes wired and still this could not cover 2500sqft area even without brick walls. It's just normal American sheetrock. I laugh at the claims of over 5000sqft. Perhaps it's tested in a huge empty warehouse.
I had to buy ceiling POE access point, even than coverage is nowhere near what you would expect.

X25 is outdoor extender. That's what I was referring to. X50s in this are for inside.

Correction, outdoor x50 not X25 so that's a good deal.
Indoor X25 will it be a big upgrade over most routers.

this actually has the Deco X50-Outdoor

which is POE and has waterproofing

the X25s included in this pack are for indoor.

Oh you are right. I mixed them up. Mine are X55 indoor and x50 outdoor plus x50 POE indoor ceiling mount. I'll make correction above.

Same here. Not seeing the discount on the Costco site. Did the deal end yesterday?

Yeah, regular price here, too.

I'm waiting for the TP-Link Deco AXE5300 6E system to go on sale. I purchased it at the regular price ($250) after realizing that the internet drop out issues I've been having wasn't with the fiber optic system but was due to the Linksys Velop WiFi 7 mesh. Zero issues since I switched to TP-Link Deco AXE5300.

tend to disagree - my 3 nodes of x60 cover 6000sf perfectly and super stable. Most of the house has 300M+ wifi connection. I never need to reboot though we lose power a few times a year. The app indeed is limited but they are wire connected to a linux gateway which handles most network mgmt, so I only use the app to turn on guest wifi. I love these Decos function properly as only APs instead of thinking they are the lead actors in the network. The thing is, i upgraded from 3 nodes of M5 and didnt find anything improved, so I would not upgrade further but recommend the whole product line

You seem to have advanced knowledge since you setup Linux and x60 is probably better as well.
