I bought this blower as a bare tool for about $90 a few months ago. I didn't have high hopes for it but it exceeded my expectations. It works great for blowing out my garage, blowing off my front porch, my sidewalks or my roof. Just don't expect it to blow wet leaves or grass. I have an Echo backpack blower and a Stihl handheld blower, both gas powered and this blower gets used the most.
Not long..need at least a 4ah. i have this blower. It's not bad..i wouldn't buy it again though
1.5 AH battery is useless.

Probably like 6-8 minutes. I usually run 2ah-5ah batteries on it.

My mom lives in a small beach front property - she loved my blower so much that I gave her mine. She uses it daily to blow all of the sand off of her patio/porch/sidewalk. I Really miss mine, so I'll buy this set and give it to her and take my old ratty one back.

I love using it for lots of little things. I have a work truck and I'll just open up the doors and blow the dust and dirt and sand out either side. I use it to clean off the filters for my roomba and window ac units. It's great for traveling as it comes with attachments to inflate / deflate air mattresses and water floats. Great for blowing dirt and debris out off / off of your tent / tarps / etc while camping.

In my eyes it's not meant to be a leaf blower but works great for tons of other things.

Edit: I originally gave my mom two 2AH batteries to go with it and she complained about them running out too quickly. I took those back and gave her a 4AH and a 6AH instead and I haven't heard a peep from her about it. I generally use my 4AH and never run out of juice before I'm done with whatever job I'm doing (I never really use it for anything too big).

I bought this as a tool only and use it with 3AH batteries that I already have on hand. It works fine for dry leaves and dust, expect only use for light duty. Won't be useful if you're expecting medium to heavy duty usage.

Does anyone have the larger 777 model? 450 vs 100cfm. Home Depot has the free 777 if you buy the 4 and 6a battery kit for $199. Blower alone is $159.

Prob because people thought it was a leaf blower. I have this and love it. I don't see this blowing a yard full of leaves. But its perfect for blowing off sidewalk/driveway. Also blowing out bed of truck, blowing off harley after washing it. And my personal favorite use.....stoking up a campfire, it goes camping with me everytime.

I have this blower and it is pretty great for shop, vehicles, and absolutely amazing for anything you need to light-duty inflate like air mattresses.

That being said, the 1.5Ah battery included is more of a freebie than anything you would want to use with this thing. Like any other battery powered blower, these will burn through batteries. I only ever use a 4Ah or 5Ah on it and it lasts plenty of time for cleaning or filling.

Bottom line: if you have more DeWalt tools that you will use the 1.5Ah battery with, that makes it enticing. Just don't buy this unless you have more, higher capacity batteries you can use with it.

Which is why I bought it. I have a couple 2Ah batteries to use with drill/drivers and and they have died. Bummer to use a 4Ah or larger battery for light work around the house. I've been wanting at least one smaller battery. This fits the bill.

I can also throw away my old worx gt blower from years and years ago which batteries only hold for about 1 minute now.

I was surprised by how small the box was at Lowes when I went to pick it up. Was on a special middle of the main isle stand with a light for $99 and a bluetooth speaker for $99.

For this application it's kinda pointless but if you have other things like a drill or something that won't kill the battery fast or need too much use then these are great. I have my extra 2 amps on my emergency tire inflator or car vaccum. Stuff I'll use probably that one time and go charge after the one use.
