I bought a latitude from Dell a year ago. Many issues, including both PD charging ports stopped working. Many of the laptops are corporate turn ins. Expect issues with leftover security programming affecting your personal use. What I thought was a deal turned into the worst purchase I've made in a couple of years

Mines arrived today. Grade A.

Lots of scratches on the case. Inside is pretty good. Missing Cover on the hinge. I am a bit disappointed.

SSD shows 5 hours of ON time. I guess this starts from 0 every time you install windows new?! Don't think that this notebook ran only 5 hours.

10th-11th gen Intels from these Dell designs overheat plenty. Just forewarned for people interested, bad design for heatsink and cooling in general.

I believe this is accurate. Wife's is 11th gen IIRC and first thing I did was buy a stand/fan for it. And hers is just an i5 - the i7's surely get throttled.

Sorry to hear the issues you had with your laptop.

As to the corporate security software, couldn't you just wipe the drive and install a fresh copy of your OS of choice?

I always do this on any laptop I buy, new or used, including the refurbished Dell Latitude 5310 I bought a couple years ago. Windows will reinstall no problem on any computer it has been registered on in the past, no fee or license key required.
