$2000 C4 has only 1-year warranty vs. 5-year on this one.

Better build quality as well. I'm just saying there's no comparison between the U7 and B4, so I'm not sure why it was even mentioned in a B4 thread. It's like comparing Walmart branded shoes to Nike.
I was responding to someone that mentioned the price difference between this B4 and 75U75N, and that difference will soon be more than was said. Of course the B4 is better, but when another OLED isn't needed, the Hisense is a decent secondary TV, and darn good bang-for-your-buck at <$900.

I was looking at it too. Any idea on the quality of the 75U75N?
I guess I shouldn't respond here since the OLED Police are monitoring. I'll just say that Rtings.com is your friend.Smilie

I am wondering the same thing. I have a 65" C4, but this is tempting. I would move the 65" to my bedroom and the 77" would go in the living room. It seems it is slightly less bright (although brighter in gaming mode), but mostly the same as the C4 in all other areas based on reviews.
The B4 isn't a bad tv I owned it and actually enjoyed having it

Just a couple of things. IMO, that article loses all credibility when they say the ADS Pro panels used in the 75U7N and 85U8N are garbage... they're not. With mini-led in those panels the contrast and black levels are very good... plus a better viewing angle than regular VA panels. Yes, being a budget brand the QA/QC may come into play (panel lottery). Outside of that...I got my son a 55U7N that he uses mostly for gaming and he loves it; if anyone's gonna complain... it's him. When I've seen regular TV content on it, I see no motion issues, and the upscaling (YouTube TV) looks very good.

The panels on U8's are great (I say that as a B2 owner too (great color saturation, and eye searing bright ess, with inky blacks) the processing hardware in them is where most issues will fall/lie

I don't know about current gen u7n but back when it was the u7h, the screen was nothing close compared directly to the u8h, not the same league of display then

Burn is still a concern for OLEDs. Don't want people getting the wrong idea.

QD-OLEDs deal with that issue much better but it's still an OLED end of the day

I am looking for a 85" but this one is so tempting with Costco warranty. Shame Costco does not carry 85" Hisense U8N or TCL QM851. On the other hand at this size, you could also save ~ 500 and end up with 75U75N with the same warranty at Costco . Yes , the B4 will be better in processing and contrast. But at 500 more ? Tough choice.
Just so you know, the Hisense U8 and Costco QM8 high-brightness miniled TVs both started failing after only 7 months of longterm burn-in usage on rtings.com. So that could perhaps be why they are not offering those models at Costco - with the 5-yr warranty included - the cost to Costco would probably be way too high on the U8 or QM8 and so they realize the TV would not be competitive.

Thanks for letting me know. Can you please share rtings link for this finding. Did the U7N fare better in long term usage?

Pause right at this second (4:41) of the video. Notice that ALL of the Hisense miniLED TVs have problems visible in test patterns. The U7H and U8HN BOTH have problems visible in real content. The TCL R745 (closest thing to a QM8) and R646 (close to a QM7) have problems visible in test patterns.

The durability of MiniLed TVs is definitely NOT high. I am thinking that the high brightness produces too much heat which causes early LED failure, or partial failures (excessive dimming).
