Just FYI, go do a couple quick searches for reviews on these before you pull the trigger.

These are NOT the same unit (at all) as the more built out, older style model that normally retails for $299.
In for one. Damn, SD's got me spending some money today - first the planer, now this. What's next?
I got this free with the 10 gliding miter saw a while back and can't really recommend it as a spindle sander. Probably better as a belt sander, but the spindle is so far back on the machine that you lose the ability to reasonably look down on your work piece as you're sanding which is very helpful. I strongly prefer the normal style like the WEN 6510T as the spindle is much closer to the front of the machine. I have both and when working on knife handles, I usually end up leaving a rougher paper in the ridgid and then doing finer work with the wen as I can see what I'm doing better. A normal oscillating spindle sander + a disc/blet sander is much more functional imo.

I grabbed the planer too even though I had no need for it lol. Debating this though... Can't get myself to pull the trigger.

What's the right way to get the price? Entering my zip code resets the price, if I pick delivery.

With HD Pro Xtra preferred pricing, I got one for $122.55. Husband requested for one a couple of months ago. So glad I waited. Thanks OP!

I have the closed base version of this and 100% agree.

I was able to set my store to zip code 78006, add to cart for $129, then ship to Kansas City, MO for that price! Price in KCMO per the HD website was $199. We'll see if it works out!

I bought one of these a few years ago and love it. I don't use it all that often, but when I do it really is helpful! I wouldn't get rid of mine.

If there is a "shipping" option you can sometimes change the zip and pay the better price. I didn't think it would work, and it didn't, but I thought I would try. I'm shopping for this right now so it was worth the effort.
