I've researched quite a bit including reddit and most people seem really happy even after long term reviews. You can also find lots of unhappy segway customers if you look so who knows. I don't think they are discontinuing it I think the market is just flooded right now and prices are in free fall across all oems. But like I said before if you want a segway, get a segway, they are certainly the most proven and reliable scooter brand in the world. My other scooter is a segway and I love it, but I need more power than this as I live in a really hilly area.

Stay away from ninebot Segway. I had a bad experience ordering a scooter. Came without the four bolts needed to put it together, told customer service and they sent me one bolt out of the four needed. Complained again. They sent me one more bolt.
Contacted them again for the third time and they sent me one more (I still don't have all four bolts).

Can't believe trash companies like this still exist.

Yes. It's got a higher quality build vs the F35. However, for kids just doing some park riding, I'd go for the F35. You can get a refurb for $200 from Walmart.

Having used both g30max and g2 max, this one is pretty good. But lack of suspension is the main reason I upgraded to g2 max and it is a game changer.
As others said , it is very heavy and if you will end up carrying it, you should take that into account. (G2 is even heavier ).
