From what I understand, the 1st generation Max (G30P)is larger and actually is $100 more than the smaller G30LP 2nd generation. ($799 vs $699 originally). Right now with crazy inflation and supply issues, prices have gone up significantly. So $750 is a good price and the 1st generation has many advantages over the 2nd gen.

G30P: larger battery ( so better range), deck is longer ( more stable), handle bars are taller. Also power brick is hard wired under deck so all you need to carry is a power cord. It also climbs hills better and has faster acceleration.

G30LP: Faster top speed, lighter, regenerative braking

So essentially the 1st gen has more advantages.

No. It's been $950 for some time. This isn't an all time low ($550), but with supply shortages and inflation, this is a good price on a bulletproof (but unexciting) scooter

Woot is not an authorized reseller - some people have commented in forums and reddit that getting warranty support is non-existent for Woot buyers.

Clarifying on some info. G30P now all have gen 2 motor and have always had regenerative braking and KERS. Plus can unlock G30P which dont think can on G30LP pretty sure LP stands for limited power.

Thanks for clarification. I wasn't 100% positive about regenerative braking in the 1st gen.
