Isn't this the regular price?
From what I understand, the 1st generation Max (G30P)is larger and actually is $100 more than the smaller G30LP 2nd generation. ($799 vs $699 originally). Right now with crazy inflation and supply issues, prices have gone up significantly. So $750 is a good price and the 1st generation has many advantages over the 2nd gen.
G30P: larger battery ( so better range), deck is longer ( more stable), handle bars are taller. Also power brick is hard wired under deck so all you need to carry is a power cord. It also climbs hills better and has faster acceleration.
G30LP: Faster top speed, lighter, regenerative braking
No. It's been $950 for some time. This isn't an all time low ($550), but with supply shortages and inflation, this is a good price on a bulletproof (but unexciting) scooter
relating to the other post, the g30lp is the version that sold at Costco and it's not as nice. This is the g30p. ESG has a good video on the differences: https://youtu.be/Ez60Ybl_aJI

Woot is owned by Amazon. G30Max has been sold by them multiple times - wish it was $560 agaiin this time! Might be worth checking those old threads.to see what is being said. Or heck, call Segway/Ninebot.

So essentially the 1st gen has more advantages.
Clarifying on some info. G30P now all have gen 2 motor and have always had regenerative braking and KERS. Plus can unlock G30P which dont think can on G30LP pretty sure LP stands for limited power.

Thanks for clarification. I wasn't 100% positive about regenerative braking in the 1st gen.
Something that goes more than 18 miles an hour. For single motor, maybe a vsett 8. For dual motor we're moving into a new price class, but maybe a varla pegasus on the cheap end
