This is on par with a 27" 1440p monitor. No, I'm not being dumb or silly. Both a 27" 16:9 display and a 34" 21:9 at 1440p are around 109 PPI (pixels per inch). Because of this, both should appear to have similar visual qualities.

Here's a PPI chart I made for myself a while ago.
16:9

22" WSXGA+ (1680x1050) is 90.05 ppi
22" FullHD (1920x1080) is 100.13 ppi
24" FullHD (1920x1080) is 91.79 ppi
27" FullHD (1920x1080) is 81.59 ppi
27" WQHD (2560x1440) is 108.79 ppi
32" WQHD (2560x1440) is 91.79 ppi
32" UHD (3840x2160) is 137.68 ppi
37" UHD (3840x2160) is 119.08 ppi
40" UHD (3840x2160) is 110.15 ppi
43" UHD (3840x2160) is 102.46 ppi
47" UHD (3840x2160) is 93.74 ppi

21:9

29" UW-FHD (2560x1080) is 95.81 ppi
34" UW-FHD (2560x1080) is 81.72 ppi
34" UW-QHD (3440x1440) is 109.68 ppi

Damn this is an incredible price for those with Amex plat biz. I'm so annoyed I already used my cash back.

I have two of this monitor and it is amazing. I don't game on it, just for work and I find it better than my 32" 4K monitors for productivity and work overall.

I bought them last year with Dell's employees discount and there were still coming to $280 I think.

This is a steal honestly. If you need it, go for it. Thinking of buying two more.

From screen ratio POV, this one is ultra-wide screen with decent number of pixels. you might want to put a couple of windows in a screen without cruching the contents.

I'm looking for one with a better curvature? Any suggestions? I saw this is 1800R and know some Samsung models are 1000R

There seems to be a wave of cheap VA 34" curved that's dropped to a price level that's targeted at the most basic purchasers. It's not a bad thing as it means even cheaper deals in the coming months! I want one but don't need one. Decisions...decisions. My basic 23" or 24" dells at work are doing what I need for work and I'm not spending my own money to bring this to work.
