Anyone know model number of items? Cannot see anywhere on post.

Looks like 356 multi, 845 impact, 996 hammer drill? This is crazy deal.

can i return the batteries and keep the free tool? batteries shows $110 in cart.

The batteries are part of the kit and cannot be returned separately. Are you referring to the 6Ah flexvolt battery that is an add on option? If so, you can return the kit (with the 9Ah flexvolt and 6Ah 20v batteries) and keep the 6Ah flexvolt battery for $110, which does not seem like a good deal.

Great deal, if you plan on keeping the free tool the best bang for your buck is the grinder.

I have the basic hammer drill from a few years ago and it would be awesome to upgrade to the 996.

One of the QnA posts says this:

Drill is the DCD996 and the impact is the DCF845.

spec is confusing - up in "product details" it says BRUSHLESS tools. down in "specifications" it says BRUSHED. well, WHICH one is it?

This is a solid deal, normally these kits have small batteries.

My bad, i meant to ask on the other dewalt post that have 2 batteries and a free tool

Basically, if it rings up as a separate price you can return it. Everything that has a price is together, so you can't break up a kit to return batteries or something, this includes SKUs that they will put in multiple items even though they're separate boxes with separate part numbers.

The router and jigsaw are both a 35% discount vs 33% on grinder.
There's no single "good" option here to keep the free item. The other Lowe's deal is better for that. (Eg, $141 for the router here vs $105ish there).
