I just got the 6-months free via a push notification alert on my phone. You will probably have to check the Perks section on your phone for the offer. The OP's link didn't show me anything.

Supposedly Platinum members get 9-months free. https://slickdeals.net/f/17833107

Oh, my phone is a Pixel 5, if that makes any difference.

Oh, if you go to https://play.google.com/store/points/perks while using your phone it will take you to Perks.

Also, if you didn't get the offer, Disney Movie Insiders is still offering 3-months of Disney+, Hulu, & ESPN https://slickdeals.net/f/17726727

I received a full 12 months offer good before 12/31. Still not interested in watching Ads though.

Same here. The OP's link had nothing for me, but I saw the offer when I checked Google Perks on my phone.

Can check on your phone in the Google Play app to see if you're eligible (click on your points -> Perks tab).

There's also some stipulations (can't upgrade to ad-free).

6-month trial is long enough for me to bite. I might not bother to deal with cancellation if it's only 3-month or less.

FYI, if you don't want to watch ads on phone or Android TV, you can use Kodi with the unofficial Disney+ plugin (https://github.com/matthuisman/slyguy.addons). It will block all ads. The unofficial Hulu plugin in the same repository also blocks ads for the ad-supported tier. With desktop web browser, ad-blocker like uBlock Origin will block ads in Disney+ and Hulu.

** Very YMMV based on your Play Points tier. (I'm currently Platinum) **

Google Play Points is offering members 6 months free trial of Walmart+ Plus

To check:
Open the Play Store App, click your account icon, click Play Points, click Perks.

I got both the 6 months free Disney+ and the 4 months free of YT premium. I'm only a silver level. So easy to cancel via Google play too. Sweet.

It's good for folks that just want to watch the new Star Wars series. I could care less about a few ads if I'm paying nothing.

Can anyone share the steps to enroll for the Disney+ basic 6 month trial? I have the offer in Google play perks. But when I go to subscribe in the Disney+ app, no discount is showing and I'm concerned that I'd be paying full price which it shows. Thanks!

I have the same issue. After reading the fine print, I think I fall into one of the caveats. Either "must not have had Disney + via Google Play in the past" or "must use same email as your Google Play account". My Disney + account is under another email, so I think that's why mine is failing. No error or anything. Very annoying that Google offers are so restrictive.
