For $9.97 more, I would recommend the 5 gal bucket attachment vacuum. It's amazing. But this is nice for the portability I suppose

How's the filter holding up? Trying to decide if it's worth the extra $7.60 (about half price of a filter) and waiting for shipping for the combo version that comes with another filter but isn't available locally (for me at least).

I've also had this for about one year. It's a lot more powerful than I ever expected. I use it in light construction clean up.

Trying to figure out why the other version for $7.60 more has the foam filters. I just read the manual, and it doesn't mention them at all. It says to just use no filter for wet vacuuming. I suppose you'd use them when you're sucking up liquid with other debris in it?

I've had this for a year, paid $50 for it, and use it a few times a week for minor construction stuff (corded 14gal comes out for bigger messes, or cosplaying as a dust extractor), cleaning the car, vacuuming the workbench, etc. I'm a fan.

That's my assumption. I've only used mine 1gal for dry; I use my big corded shopvac without a filter when I need to cleanup a wet mess.

Filter on mine is fantastic. Used extensively past few months on home reno… not sure how they designed it so effectively but it shakes out super clean, at least in my experience, even caked in stuff.

Have had one for about 5 months now after finding on a store specific clearance for $30… Huge fan of this vac. Size/weight and portability/ease of use is everything with a tool like this… and super powerful to boot. Enough of a fan I'm buying a second one for my dad at this price, still well worth it.

Anyone have a performance comparison with Dewalt DCV580? If this is a better vac will consider getting one and using battery adapter with my Dewalt batteries

I like-filter was fine. Use for car. Had to empty wood pellets from the hopper more than once and it worked well. I would recommend.

Not bad and very compact. I do have a preference for Ridgid lifetime service agreement tho. I have their 4gal shop vac and blower in one and it's dumb strong
