After 2 years, my mug disconnects, stops heating, and tries to connect repeatedly everytime I take it off the coaster. I emailed ember support with a video and I haven't received a response. I loved the mug otherwise.

Edit: Support magically got back to me the same day I posted this and offered a free replacement.

I got a Rose Gold 14oz last time. Also looked brand new, but was missing a charging cord for the coaster, but Woot refunded me enough to order a replacement from Ember directly.
As someone with a weak mouth, love that these let the coffee cool to 135ish and then keep it there. Have one at work and one at home.

Was just using my travel mug 2. I purchased mines 2 years ago after seeing the mug on slickdeals. didn't want an open top at the top. I was convinced by someone in the comments to just get a mug warmer which I will tell you, no where close to be the same. Mug warmer barely kept the mug hot more and barely kept the drink warm. These things will keep your drink whatever temp you want up to 145 for hours if you put it back on the charger. never had a drink that long to test how long it can stay warm without it turning off.

Got one on prime day, use it for soup. Very useful, use it daily

Cost effective if you throw out liquids when they are cold.

There are much cheaper "hot plates" on Amazon, but they don't seem to be safe with burns/fires especially around pets/kids based on the reviews. This doesn't seem to have any unsafe heat. The handle stays perfectly cool as well

Got a brand new one.

1) Get the biggest one. I think 14oz. It's BARELY enough for the large size on a Keurig and almost not enough creamer.

2) They battery is very small. It only last me through one 20 minute or so cup of coffee before it's red.

3) The app was a hassle getting it to connect without crashing on my Pixel 8 Pro.

Honestly I probably wouldn't get it against if anything because it's a little too small if you want cream and sugar. And want to mix it without spilling.

The fact that you can't use a normal metal spoon with this cub should clue you into how terrible of a product it is. I'm also pretty sure the coating is using some kind of PTFE forever chemical. Cancer in a cup.

That's the case with many websites.
People have told me they purchased refurbished TVs from Secondipity and received a pristine item. Others received scuffed TVs that looked like something found at pawn shops.

Those who received new ones in the place of factory refurbished, mind specifying if you ordered Mug 1 or Mug 2? And which color?

Possibly, those color and variant combination was OOS for refurbished ones and so they substitute with brand-new.
