Excellent headphone more than capable of being used for video games. Better bass than AKG 702s, but closed in soundstage by comparison. Want to hear creepy footsteps around you, 702s. Explosions going off and more impactful gun shots, 6xx. Closed back then maybe the AKG 553.

The biggest argument against the Sennheiser 6xx is that the Hifiman HE400se exist and are $109. I don't agree, but some people think the 6xx is boring because it is fairly neutral.

Pretty flat bass. 3K Hz bump.

Paid $159 during Black Friday last year. My first set of over ear headphones and they've been great paired with a Qudelix 5K dspdoohicky or hooked up directly to a Nintendo Switch.

After getting used to wireless headphones, it is difficult to switch to wired headphones. I understand that wired headphones usually have better sound quality, they are just not that convenient.

So how many times have you fallen or pulled something off your desk? ;P I do agree on the convenience of wireless, especially on a wfh situation but these look like some quality headphones

Impedance is 300 ohms. I'm going to say it's unlikely the controller can sufficiently drive these headphones.

No. You would want the 58X in that situation.

Rocking a pair of Porta Pros at my desk because I hated my Momentums enough to give up on wireless until they go back to the drawing board and figure it out. Wireless is great for mowing lawns and jogging, outside of that I've not found any redeeming qualities aside from noise cancellation, which is admittedly an awesome feature for those who need it.

Do wire less headphones give off radiation ?
The technical answer is yes, but everything does and this particular frequency has been studied extensively and is safe.

They use Bluetooth. 2.4ghz, which is the same radio frequency as most wireless network adapters. (And with less energy/weaker transmitters.) So even if YOU don't have a cell phone, tablet, laptop, or wireless network anywhere in the house, you're probably getting some of the same radiation from your neighbors unless you're off-grid somewhere.

How are these for single player immersive games? Are these more neutral bass or v shaped?
