I'm a barber and these are what I use. Had the andis and wahl ones but didn't last. These are much stronger and battery life is much better. Great price too.

I don't think this is much of a deal. There are comparable, maybe even better options out there if you value Andis & Wahl brands, for about the same price.

My barber used the Wahl on me once. It was so smooth, like melted butter on my face.

How is this for maintaining a bald head?

Great. Use your trimmers to stubble first and these will finish off the job. YouTube fx3 shavers. These use the same cutting blades as the fx shiny ones.

there are a lot of ergonomic and wide coverage options specially made for that purpose now. michael jordan showed us the way to go. I'd get a special built one that fits really nice in the palm and has a nice cup type shaving area. my only gripe is most seem battery powered, corded can last until one's death

This is good for bald heads. I'm not fully bald, so I have to use it every 1-2 days. If I skip the 2nd day then razor is a must. It gets pretty close to razor close. Replacement blades and heads are cheap and I change it once a year

This product was recommended to me by my barber shop owner cousin

I purchased this for $85.36 ($76.41 + $8.95 shipping from BarberSets) in August. I used every day to shave my head up until a few weeks ago when I decided I would grow my hair back out. I have been pretty satisfied with it for easy daily shaving while reading the news or watching TV. I'm not sure yet on longevity of the blades but did notice it started taking longer than when I first got it, but that's normal. It still worked just fine, just took longer. For the price, I recommend over anything else I have tried for a much higher (and lower) price.

I bought this around the time it was released for $90-100

It's definitely high quality, and the battery lasts forever. They changed to plastic from the last version, I think to save weight for barbers using them for long hours.

It's really only for the shortest hair, though. I use a trimmer on my beard first when it gets long, then finish with this. If I was more diligent I could just keep on using this to keep the beard at bay
