I purchased this bike back in April for $519 flat (no tax or shipping). I've loved it and mainly take it for family outings to breweries and such. I'm ~200lbs and it has plenty of juice for my needs and most hills. Some steep hills require a bit of knowhow and effort with the gears + throttling. By accessing the LCD parameter settings I was able to set to throttle-only which I enjoy more than peddle-assist. This way I can throttle as much help as I want as I peddle instead of preset assist modes which I don't like. It has walking assist which is good as it's not necessarily a light bike. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this one, especially at this price point compared to other e-bikes.
The light is nice and strong and it has a back red light too which is great. I've modded it with a phone carrier, mirrors and rear carrier.

I bought 2 of the Austins and for the first 6 months they were fine. But one of the bikes quit working (screen wouldn't turn on and the motors would not work despite the batteries worked when swapping batteries from one bike to another). Emailed Senada and played their game to get a replacement screen - had to take multiple videos to trouble shoot the bikes by doing various things including taking parts off the good bike and placing them on the bad bike. In all, probably spent about 3 hours doing the back and forth with their support team over the course of 4 days (could have been fewer days but I had things to do on some days so couldn't always get on it right away). Then once they determined the screen needed to be replaced, it took about a month to get the part. I did not have the option of taking it to a bike shop so I was expected to be a bike tech when I have no experience doing so. Not really a great experience, but given the price, I suppose that's to be expected.

Anyways, just wanted to help those of you who might want to know about how their service is.
Bought 2 of these back in April for my teens to take to school. So far they've put close to 400miles on it. I ride it here/there just to cruise around. No complaints.

Just to note..

when we first got it, had 2 flats on rear tire. I put that green slime on it and havent had any since.
brakes suck. Its mechanical. I tell my boys to plan ahead before stopping to slow themselves down. As long as you manage that expectation, its fine.

Has anyone gone into the menu yet and tried to adjust level five to 30 mph? I just tried it. Set P08 to 27 and it still topped out at 24.9.
my son-in-law got mine to continuely run at 28.9 using the GPS for actual speed.

Could you ask him to give us simple instructions on how to do this?

I tested again and per instructions set P08 to 100 which should disable the limit. It does not.. never goes above 24.9.

I also suffer from Need for Speed but with the mechanical brakes I'm gonna stick with 24.9 in hopes of 24 months + longevity.
