Thousands of people do, because there is no "pulling it off" to it. It's not a scam, it's not a hack, it's not fraudulent. It's an acceptable policy by Home Depot, as they literally put it on the receipts the return value of each item. If it wasn't still profitable for them, they wouldn't put in the extra effort to split out the returns and would rather do it like literally every other retail outlet. It's an easy process, it can sometimes be done online by canceling individual items, or as simple as bringing the unwanted item to the store and retuning it. They don't give you a gift card or store credit, they simply return the balance to your pay account as if it's any other return.

This by far is one of the best deal I've seen for Milwuakee tools. All FUEL.

Wish this came with a multitool and a sawzall instead of the work light and the grinder. Aside from that, it's a pretty decent deal.

Does this still work? Not getting the same prices as this post says.

Edit: Never mind. I had do add both items simultaneously through the offer page in order to reflect the correct prices.

Upon trying to cancel individual item through online order management page, it defaults to cancelling both products. I assume I'll need to wait for items to arrive and then just take battery in-store to return individually?

Yea, if it doesn't allow you to cancel individual items, you'll need to return it at the store.

I agree. I think you could sell the grinder on marketplace and pickup the sawzall on a hack for close to a wash. I'm thinking very seriously about doing just that.
