RAPID M18 charger provides double output (108W)
If we were to use the M18 12A battery as an example,
Default M18 charger takes 4 hours to charge to 100% if totally drained
RAPID M18 charger takes 2 hours to charge to 100% if totally drained
The other benefit of this charger is that you can charge two M18 batteries at the same time and they will charge simultaneously (vs. the default M18/M12 dual charger which will only charge one battery at a time).
There is also a MW SUPER charger that provies 248W output which is insane. It pulls 13.5A from your plug so you need to be sure you don't run too many things off the circuit providing power to the SUPER charger since it pulls so much amperage.

Personally I wish these chargers had a "Storage" setting built-in in that they'd charge your batteries to 40 - 60% for long term storage. Then when you really needed them you could pop them onto a RAPID/SUPER charger to quickly charge and use. I've got a lot of MW batteries (both M12 and M18 versions) and generally store them after recharging them which is bad for these batteries over the long term.

I routinely use this and it is much faster than the ones you get with an M18 tool and much faster than I expected it to be.

I would plug my old ones in and walk away and come back the next day or later in the day.
With this rapid charger I will come back what seems to be minutes and it's green and ready to go.

According to this: A rapid charger will charge the 12 ah battery in 130 minutes vs 241 minutes on a regular.
'faster' charging maycreate excessive heat, it's a little complicated and case-by-case
I would take the fast route since working on a job earn much more money to replace those batteries down the line.
