In past year around this time (holidays) Makita has run a deal where you buy a starter pack with charger and 2x 5Ah batteries for $200 and get a free tool which included this trim router. Maybe it's foolish to long for days of yore. At least with this deal you get a battery, but it's not as slick as past deals.
