The 365 subscription they sell here isn't one of those would move your subscription to be managed by amazon, right?

I have an existing family subscription, how much does a 12 or 15-month personal translate to if I add it to my family subscription?

Is this stackable on an existing subscription?

Microsoft Office Home 2024 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is $98.35. That's pretty good if you want to avoid the subscription model of Office 365.

I'm not sure if I need Microsoft 365 Personal, but I'll buy it anyway because it's on sale.

The subscription gets you 1 TB storage.

Can you buy multiple and apply them when renewal comes up or are you stuck paying $70 to renew?

I believe you can stack up to 5 years.

Kind of mediocre deal. Best deal for 365 subscription usually from Antonline whey combine 365 + another product like nordvpn for $30.

Would be a great deal if it were family instead of personal, at these prices.

I'm reading that they made it much harder to add these to an existing family subscription, and even if one got it to work, the 15 month adds the same amount of time as the 12 month (9 months).

I guess one could let the family expire, add a bunch of these, then convert to family. My subscription doesn't expire until next March though, and I don't feel comfortable having these codes sit around given I had previous MS codes that were hacked after being unused for a while.

Not sure if anyone else has any more recent experience.

"ATTENTION: Your redemption code will be delivered as tracking number within a few business days. You will receive your serial number(s) to authorize and register your product as your tracking number."

The full office licenses they sell are sketchy "email a guy" ones with the same warning, making me hold off. Any Woot item with an orange box like this is IMO a huge red flag.

Be advised, if you have ever stacked a prepaid code for an additional year of Family onto your sub--e.g. I have bought retail codes for another year of Family from AAFES--you will not be able to add a Personal code onto your Family sub for a pro-rated amount. I went around and around with Microsoft support on this, it removes the ability for you to redeem a Personal code against a Family sub.

You can add a Personal code to a Family sub for a lesser pro-rated amount, the interface for doing so is available in your Microsoft account....UNLESS....you have ever redeemed a prepaid yearly Family code to stack additional time on your Family sub. Doing so removes the ability to redeem Personal codes against a Family sub for a pro-rated amount. I have experienced this, troubleshot with multiple levels at Microsoft, this is the consistent answer from them
