Upgraded from xm4s to these and I liked the smaller size but seemed like the sound was worse. Ended up trying galaxy buds pro 3 and keeping those. Looking forward to the Xm6 which are supposed to be released early next year

I just got the Beats Studio Buds + for $70 open box at best buy to replace my xm4 dying from the battery issues (PayPal + chase freedom 5% Cashback and earbud trade in for better discount)

I love my XM4, which is said to be better or equal to the XM5

however, the studio buds + is better than the xm4 in every single way. audio was much better. the mic noise cancellation was also much much much much better. in the city surrounded by a crowd of ppl and cars and police sirens, the person I called barely knew what was going on in the background and could clearly hear me. my Sony and airpods could not do this.

ANC was pretty similar across the board for me. I think the Sony slightly has better ANC, but negligible imo
