Not yet I ordered two. I like the clean look over xps foam board and the ease of installation. When they come in I will let you know my experience with them.

Please keep in mind that these do add a fair bit of weight to your garage door. May affect garage door opener. I think in most instances you just have to make some minor adjustments.

I'd also add that if your garage door opener spring is in question at all from the extra weight, consult a professional.

I wish they sold these pieces to standard garage door widths. I think you'll have to cut pieces in half for most garage doors.

How much money will you save on heating using this? Most people don't heat their garage or work in it during winter. Instead, insulate the door that connects your house to the garage.

I have recently installed these on my doors and recommend this one.
Installation is very easy and its definitely worth it.

you won't "save" anything... any wall shared with the garage is already sized and insulated as if it were an exterior wall. the idea is just to keep your garage a bit warmer/cooler during the night/day when the door is closed in the winter/summer.

I got these last year at full price, so I paid $60 each but have 2 garage doors to insulate. Total was $120.
Anyways in my case I did noticed a difference because during summer I have the sun beaming directly at my doors. Since I installed them, I did feel like my garage was a little cooler. But mine is a special case where I'm keeping the radiant heat out.
Note also that you will make a mess when cutting these boards to size, little pieces of styrofoam everywhere!

I have these. Higher r value which great. I can be in my garage in dead winter in my pajamas. However, they don't stay put. Yeah have to tape them down to the doors. Over time the tape fails and you have to retape and retape. Some of the rectangles start looking ugly and now I'm looking at switching to these foam boards for a cleaner look

I actually went the rigid foam board insulation [homedepot.com] route and cut to fit. Helped quite a bit and I believe it's a higher R value than most kits. They have different thicknesses so make sure to see what your door can handle.

Additional note, when you add these kits, be sure to adjust your door springs for the extra weight.

Any good options for a reflective barrier or a kit that includes? I'm more concerned about keeping the heat out down here in Texas.
