Add extra year of warranty while checking out and use this code - BUYMORELENOVO. It will bring the laptop price to $980 ($940 + $40 for extra year of warranty). So, for $980, we get also get an additional year of warranty.

Also, by choosing PayPal as payment method, with Chase freedom as the card, will get another 5% additional cashback.

Edit: just adding one year additional warranty automatically brings $40 discount in cart making total price as $980. No coupon codes are needed!
"Only" 64GB system RAM, pass. This is a beast of a mobile workstation if you need the horsepower.
64gb of ram for less than 1k. Good enuf for my 1000 open Chrome tabs.

Why? Is it bad?
That sounds awesome..to me not sure why a keyboard from the 90s would be bad.

I am debating between this Lenovo VS LG gram 16" Touchscreen Intel Evo Platform Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 155H - WQXGA (2560x1600) - Windows 11 from Costco.
https://www.costco.com/lg-gram-16...57819.html
I use a lot of Canva, PhotoShop and Dall-E (to generate pictures). LG gram at Costco has Intel Evo Platform Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 155H has 2TB SSD.
What are your thoughts between these two? Should I wait for BlackFriday deals? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I bought this a few weeks ago. I opted for the low-power monitor because I heard people say the OLED kills the battery life. It's a pretty awesome laptop and great for Linux!

There are issues with the Wifi adapter in Linux. See the following thread:

After over a year and no fix, it seems unlikely it will ever be solved.

Apparently the coupon codes like BUYMORELENOVO are no longer valid. The sale just ended or some BS like that.... I"ll wait till the next one I guess.
Just add the additional warranty to the cart, total price comes to $980. Coupon code no longer needed to get the discount.

This might just be me talking to myself out loud, but I'd appreciate any feedback y'all might have.
I'm struggling to decide between this deal or the Intel version for about $200 more. I'm coming from a decade of daily driving MacBooks. Before that I was daily driving Linux on ThinkPads for a long time, so I have experience, but very outdated.
I can get this Intel P14s G5 for $1,189: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/la...21g2002bus
Intel Pros:
  1. Bigger battery. 75Wh versus 52.5Wh
  2. While I love OLED, I assume the IPS panel on the Intel version will be easier on the battery.
  3. Dedicated NVIDIA graphics. Not sure if this is a pro/con versus the integrated Radeon graphics on the AMD
  4. Intel Wifi. I'll be running Linux so this one will avoid the issue with the Qualcomm card that everyone has been reporting
Intel Cons:
  1. No sweet sweet OLED
  2. Half the RAM (for the on-sale model), but 32GB is already more than enough for what I need. And it's upgradable if I ever need more.
  3. Has Intel really gotten their act together versus AMD on performance/efficiency/thermals?
Bonus thought. I originally had my mind set on a Framework 13" with the new 2.8K display, but the price/performance of both of these ThinkPads makes the benefits of a Framework hard to justify.

I didn't see this in a 15 or 16 in display. I wonder if they have that.

The Intels are better this generation. Even has a different chassis from the AMD and a bigger battery
Not even close in terms of performance. You can game on the 780M and do light AI workloads. AMD is significantly more energy efficient.

Has anyone had success with haggling chat for a discount code while already using the Perks at Work discounted site? I can't decide if I am just getting bad rng on my agents or if they truly won't discount further when using this site, as opposed to how easily they'll give you another 10% normally just complaining
