500 lumen is perfectly fine depending on use. You don't want 1000 lumen when you're under a car or working on a fuse box. This h25lr headlamp has the Samsung lh351d emitter which is a flood light not a throwy emitter plus it's high cri so colors are not washed out.

Everyone seems to be missing the point on these. They're deep red lights, these are for specific tasks like preserving night vision. I use red lamps for walking into and out of the woods while hunting, animals are far less sensitive to red and green spectrum lighting. They're great for fishing at night, they attract about 10x less bugs than a white light.

Those don't have the red light which is the main feature of the sofirn.

The HS41 can not push over 2000lm for more than 30 seconds.https://zeroair.org/2023/08/17/so...mp-review/ It is typical for these lights to thermal down to 300-400 lumens after a min.
Right, which is one more thing that makes the H25LR better than it may seem at a glance. And I'm guessing that most headlamp users primarily use a headlamp for >30sec at a time. On the other hand, at my job I have a frequent need for short bursts of light (currently provided by a Sofirn SC33) and I think that HS41 is a good choice for such applications.

Ah the red is overrated, a gimmick with early headlamps because red leds were the cheapest and an easy addon for marketing.

The hunting argument never rings true for me because hunters need other colors than red to follow blood trails, i think it was green or purple, i don't remember.
haha. your ignorance knows no limit here. pretending that 500 lumens is a dealbreaker is hilarious enough, and then you one up yourself by going so far as to show you have no idea what you are talking about with red lights. numerous people have stated 100% legit and common reasons to want/need a red light, yet you want to call it a gimmick?

big lol @ the hunter argument never ringing true for you. have you ever considered that its because you dont know the first thing about hunting?

its like every word you speak makes you look more foolish

Lol. Keep grasping. I'd say you'll figure it out eventually but honestly... I doubt it.

I didn't need batteries so I added some non-sale items to reach the free shipping requirement.
I used code VIQO10 for 15% off for the non-sale items.

The Sofirn Official Store on AliExpress has the new Sofirn HS21 headlamp on sale for $20 today. Limited supply. This is the best headlamp Sofirn has ever made, and can even be controlled wirelessly with a wave of the hand on the side of the headlamp. It also has a Buck Driver. Sofirn put out a video of it today on YouTube.

They also have the SP60 dual 21700 cell beast with the great XHP70.3 HI emitter WITH BATTERIES for an $35 today. It's one of the top 5 of my brightest lights (yet it's a thrower) in my 200+ flashlight collection (using Molicel P45B'S).

Also, the headlamp that is the topic of this thread is $11 on AE. The H25L is $10. The HS10 is $10.

Yeah, not seeing these prices on Ali; did you have a code? Or maybe it's expired now? There's a $5 coupon on orders over $39, so the SP60 could be brought under $35 at this link: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32...84606.html, but I'm not finding the HS21 for $20 with any of the listed coupons.

Worth noting that the H35B has a higher listed lumen rating, for those that are concerned about the 500 lumens on the H25LR, and is actually a little cheaper today with the 25% off coupon: https://www.sofirnlight.com/produ...e-headlamp . It also has red-light built in, so those who are concerned about night vision are also accommodated.

HS21 for $20 is gone. It was a limited number, 1st of the month special.

I'd rather but a 1200 lm one and put it on low which would be 200lm. More options
