Especially when you look up oem prices and the difference between the 2 types is only a few $.

The Dell 3520 series still has 2 RAM slots, and includes the space and carrier for a 2.5" SSD for additional storage. And, this particular model has the touch screen, fairly rare in this price range.

If you don't care about touchscreen or having a 15.6" screen, the HP 14 at Costco will be on sale for the same price. Better processor, more RAM out of the box. Also has backlit keyboard. For me, that's the best new, non-refurb budget deal. I'd consider the HP Envy for an extra $100 too.

There's a refurbished one with the same specs except with a backlit keyboard and 120hz for $200. For Chromebook gaming laptops i think it's a standard feature.

Im sure you can find it new for around $400 if you don't want refurbished.
