Uinotify.net is your friend.
The UXG is effectively a UXG with the could controller built in. if you already have a cloud key (UCK) then you could eliminate it by getting this or keep it and use a UXG.
personally, I've been using an UCK for years, so when it was time to add a new site I upgraded my USG with the UXG and simply added a second UXG at the second site The new features and capabilities are significant.

Someone may correct me, but the big difference I understand is that a UXG is used with either Cloud hosting OR private hosting. This is a Cloud Gateway, which means that you are locking into using Unifi to host your controller (i.e. a monthly payment).
So you either get UXG and manage the controller yourself, whether through a UCK (additional cash outlay) or your own hosted software (additional monthly hassle), or you get a UCG and have a monthly payment instead.

UX products are the ones that either need to rely on Unifi Hosting, or need a separate device that has the controller software. Since you already had a UCK - the Cloud Key (for the people reading this who have no idea what we're talking about) with the controller built in to it - on your network, when you bought your UXG, the UCK did the controlling for you.
The Cloud Gateway products just do what you do, but in one product.
