For non nerds: when you use a 3rd party signin like they are doing with Steam (or when you do a "Sign in with Google" on a site), it's done using a protocol call OAuth.
In the setup, you provide a URL that the user should be redirected back to after successfully signing in. They set it to localhost port 3000. That's used for testing on a specific computer and you're supposed to replace that with the real URL before you go live.
So somebody goofed here

After that you select country to setup the account then it goes back to their main site but at this point the game would appear in the Steam library.
