Besides the $100 Lowe's Outlet sale, is this a good price or does it usually go lower? Don't need the Jr, but would like one for fun!

They have been $199 before, but I haven't been quick enough to buy before they go out of stock during those deals. I have been trying to get one for$199 for like 3 years.

I just picked one up off market place brand new for $250. But this is solid price buying retail. I was looking around for a good 2 months and figured just to get it and get grilling instead of looking to save an extra $50 or so

Same here, check out marketplace. It took me a while but I got a brand new for $200 a year ago because I also got tired of waiting for a price cut in the Jr that never happened. Good luck and I hope you find it

I bought one from HD, but have to return it because their shipping carton was damaged and the actual grill came in with large crack. Return was easy but have to call them for return and schedule a UPS pick up. Then I bought it again but through Amazon, came in a pellet with no damage to the shipping carton and grill is perfect. There is signs that the one from HD was already damaged and they tried to put it back in the carton, I can see the extra tape.

Big green egg with a lifetime warranty. Sorry I'm a purest. My brother in law had the KJ but I like my MiniMax a lot. Easier to carry too.

I love my Kamado Joe Jr. It's a great size but be aware it's very difficult to do two zone cooking since it's only 12" wide.

Going BGE over KJ doesn't make you a "purest" by any means.

Kamado has a lifetime warranty for all ceramic parts. 5 year on metal parts and kettles. 3 year for electrical and heat deflectors and pizza stones. 2 year on misc components and standalone accessories.

Thanks and in for one at HD (deal alive Saturday 6am ET)… much easier return if any issues / shipping damage. Coming from a larger Acorn (metal / poor man's kamado) which is ok at best, can't wait to see how this goes - quite optimistic based on the very positive reviews.
