Let's see when Apple stops calling 120hz refresh rate a pro feature.
Obviously when the Pro models get a 240hz screen. There has to be some kind of separation between the Pro and Air models. That said I have both the 13" Air M2 and 13" Pro M4. There is absolutely nothing wrong with with the M2 Air's screen. for almost every kind of use. I'd like to pick up an 11" Air too. $499 isn't bad but I'll wait until BF because I'm sure it won't be more than this then.
Virtually no difference in performance between last gen and this gen except for price 😁 unless you telling me you run photoshop, final cut pro and Lightroom while shooting a 4k video on your iPad pro ?
in fact I'll go as far back as m1 iPad pros are good

Very true. Only last summer did I feel the "need" to upgrade to the M4 iPad Pro from my 2018 Pro. The 2018 was actually running quite fine but Apple was offering a fantastic trade in value for it that I knew I'd never see again. Combined with the EDU pricing and $100 GC it was a no brainer.
Frankly, I was sure when I bought the M4 iPad Pro in the summer that Apple would announce some super cool use for that processor by this time. But M4 is still kind of overkill for the iPad.
Excellent deal on the 128GB option…BF probably will have probably have slightly lower price on the 64GB but I don't see the 128GB option getting much lower than this. IIRC last year's BF deal was $450/$480 for the M1 64GB version.
