These seem to be fitting the wide mouth ball jars; not the standard ones. The standard jar lids are not on sale.

I haven't shopped at a "dollar" store in a very long time every since anything worthy at the 99 Cents Only Stores costed $10-20 bucks.

Interesting product, but I gotta ask, why use these as opposed to the screw on lids that Mason jars come with? I would have thought those would be better.

These are more attractive and easier to get in and out of if you're using them on your kitchen shelf or in the pantry to store spices and dry goods. The normal two part lid and ring are better for canning and preserving. When you're going to be in and out of a jar, the push to close top with a vacuum seal like these is best.

To add to the other replies here: The metal lids can rust. I found out the hard way. More than likely my fault, but if I can idiot proof the lids for myself, all the better.
