I'd say the only thing better out there is Knipex' forged 13-72-8 strippers, but they're also like 4x the price of this. Despite preferring those, I still keep the 9" milwaukees around because they have a crimp function too (these smaller ones don't, FWIW).

Maybe I'll pick these up as a replacement.

Strippers like these will last forever for most folks. They also help with remediating wire in or near the junction box, where the bulky automatic type might not fit. Just make sure it's tooled for the size wires you work with and preferably it should be spring opened.
