There was a sub-$100 deal posted recently, but you had to return the batteries...Note that this is the new version of the 500CFM model, and not the more powerful 600.

This is the 3017-20 so based on my personal research this is the one to get. Odd that it comes with two XC5.0 batteries when it advertises runtimes with an HD12.0 and XC8.0. I might hold off until it is available with a better battery.

Agree, you'll want the 12.0 and 8.0 deal for this blower, the only reason to get this deal is to use the 5.0 batteries for your other tools. I can confirm that this deal allows you to stack military discount unlike the battery add-on deal.

Agree,
As soon as I seen the picture with the smaller batteries, I was wondering, why is it not whit the bigger batteries

How does this one compare to the Milwaukee M18 dual battery blower?

I think that one has 600 CFM, but I wonder if anyone has tested these two side by side in actual real world scenarios

Torque test channel on YT has a comparison of this model, the dual battery, and other popular blowers. Long story short the single battery is disappointing compared to cheaper brands, the dual battery is among the top of price/performance. I have this single battery model and it's okay, I blow grass clippings occasionally so not really a power user.

You think 🤔 hd or Milwaukee will actually make a deal with the higher amp batteries ? I'm on the edge about this deal since I'm looking for a blower but you got me thinking now 🤔

The dual battery model is pretty heavy, very happy with my recent 3017-20 purchase. Noticeable improvement over the 2724-20.

Project Farm tested both variants and the single battery rated one of the lowest like #9-10 he did and dual battery was #3-5 depending 0n the category.

3017 balances weight and power.
