Until these hit about $2,500, they're still grossly overpriced. You are paying for the name.

For all you veterans out there, this can be had for $4,212.63 with the 10% veteran discount. Great price for this unit. I picked up the Delta Pro 3 with extra battery for $4,399 after the discount a couple months ago, which I thought was pretty good at the time (and still would be for 8 kWh of battery backup). It was a game changer for me with Hurricane Helene and Milton here in central Florida. We were out of power for 3 days. I ran the battery backup to run my critical loads all night long and then used my Westinghouse 11,000 inverter generator about 8 hours a day to recharge and run my whole house during the day (even my AC unit with an EasyStart installed). Worked great!

Yeah it's pretty crazy when you consider you can get 7000 watt hours of lithium iron phosphate batteries for under $900 now. There's quite the profit margin on these devices.

It's more than just batteries. buying batteries is just the 1st step, then you need to wire them together, (dangerous), then you need a BMS, fuses, distribution box, need to enclosure, cooling, etc. Even after that you don't have a remote app to manage it with automatic alerts, safety settings. IMO not worth doing it yourself at these prices with federal rebates.

I got this for $2800 from home depot several months ago... that feels like the sweet spot imo. Makes it 2k after federal rebate. It was a price mistake though.

If I had seen that I would have snapped up two of them.

Yes, from Home Depot. There is a thread in Deal Talk about it.

Yeah found it. Would have jumped on that if I'd had been aware of it. I'd pay more, but not willing to pay $4612 plus tax

I, too, feel this is too expensive. Nice to have all in one solution but at premium price, even with the discount.
