I have this printer. Its been out of the box work horse, outside of PLA differences. Hundreds of hours of print time, and just had to change the nozzle yesterday.

Man, a C-note for this? Yep. Solid. Would do, but I need another 3D printer like a need another hole in my head.

I just wanted to add my experience here from the seller and these refurbs. Instead of a Ender 3 V3 SE I bought the Ender 3 V3 KE since I wanted the upgrades. I'm a tinker, have a Ender 3 Pro so am not new to maintenance and fiddling with a 3D printer.

Although the printers are refurbished make sure you double check everything. My 3D printer came missing a Nozzle, with a used build plate and some damage on the hotbed, tools/screws in a green ziplock snacks bags, and the aluminum plate slightly warped in one spot.

Not having a nozzle was a huge letdown since I can't run a test print to see how it works and am working with the seller to address this issue, but that should not have been a miss from their part. I will be buying nozzles of my own since Amazon is significantly faster than waiting for it to be rectified by the seller.

The build plates showed use before and it seems that Z offset calibration was off since there are scratches in the build plate. I then went to inspect the Hotbed and saw what looks to be a single point where the nozzle was dug in at the very edge of it. This may not bode will for me... but until I get a nozzle in (hopefully today), I won't know why this printer was refurbed.

I noticed a slight wobble on my printer after setting it up and decided to unscrewed all the screws on the bottom aluminum plate to make sure they were properly on. I found that the center screw was definitely too tight when I went to loosen them. So I re-tighten all the screws to hand tight specs and there isn't as big of a wobble anymore but now notice that one area of it flexes when I press on it vs every other areas. I tried a series of loosening and tightening but I will say that when I put it on a truly flat surface it seemed ok and not to wobble too much. So I can't be sure if the base is not warped or if it's just the aluminum plate. But I'm taking my chances until I can run some test prints.

So as a big big warning, I don't advise these refurbs for new people into the maker space. If you really want one, get a brand new one that hopefully has better QA. But if you just want something that mostly works, go get a Bambu Mini or something. Think of it like buying a used Car, you don't know what you're getting until you have it for awhile.

Although I had a bit to say I don't mind any of the above as I've gotten the worst from a Ender 3 Pro already and do enjoy the tinkering and messing with it. So I'll probably keep it as long as things get better from here.

I just ordered the refurbished K1C, thank you for the heads up about buying refurbished/used. I will definitely need to go over everything once it arrives.

Same experiences here after getting mine from the same seller, well worded.

One benefit of this price is that you can get 2-3 printers for the price of one equivalent Bambu. There's much to be said about running multiple print jobs at once rather than waiting around for one unit.

So really, the E3v3SE is a good starter printer and also a good production printer as well.

Yes it not only has a bed level probe but it also has a strain gauge under the bed and no leveling knobs so it can do auto Z offset
And it has a direct drive sprite extruder
It's a total game changer from non V3 enders

I didn't order from this deal but my first (returned) V3 SE failed the bed leveling and tried to drive the nozzle into the bed. It turned out a wire under the bed was slightly unplugged. Not enough to be obvious but enough to cause the strain gauge to not respond. Basically the strain gauge is under the front left corner of the bed. From the gauge a wire goes to a PCB mounted under the center of the bed. That has a second wire that goes out the back of the bed with the heater wires. Well in my open box printer that was unplugged. Thus the printer never saw the build plate and drove the nozzle down until the stepper skipped. Since this mine was supposed to be a new in open box I decided to return it and get a new in closed box model.

As for this deal, it keeps coming up. If you get a good example then you got a really nice starter printer for a very good price. But a number of people have complained about the delivered printer being something other than "refurbished". For this reason I would treat this deal with caution.

Lets see if we can't get you printing better. Are you having first layer problems or problems further up in the print?

I ordered a KE last time there was a discount code, and it was bad enough I just sent it back. Even though it's more money the code works for the FlashForge too, so I got it instead.

I bought this a month ago before it showed up on Slickdeals it arrived with a cracked heat plate but it still worked so I used it and today the first day after the return window I decided to leave it alone for a 6 hour print came back to check an hour later and not a single pla bead on the plate it somehow back fed into the housing/ hot end creating something that resembled a clicker from the last of us. I was really underwhelmed with the condition mine came in there was missing paint on the support stands it's obvious this has lived a rough life and was returned as part of some warranty. Minimal effort done to refurbish these. Im done with creality I keep buying them when there are so many better out there.

I wouldn't recommend these even if mine hasn't melted down but back feed into the housing was the icing on the cake

I got this from the deal a couple weeks ago for $92. It's my first 3D printer. There's a learning curve but it's been a lot of fun.
The seller is kind of hit or miss. My plate came with massive scrapes, scuffing, a hole, & PLA still melted onto it. The seller said they'd send me a replacement but I haven't heard from them in a week. But the printer itself came it great shape. I still think it was a very good deal for $92.
I've been printing using masking tape & a glue stick. It works surprisingly well. I bought Creality PLA & the grey sucks (the base layer always has gaps & it strings more than the others). Black & white are alright though.
