Perfect for business travel. I use something similar while traveling. Nothing quite like a portable monitor, this numpad, and noise cancelling headphones to be the coolest guy in the place.

I'd guess it's just a niche product. Mostly business users need a number pad, but probably just bought a keyboard already with one. It's for the few who really like a smaller keyboard but also occasionally need to do extensive spreadsheet data entry. That's when they whip this out?

Probably good for people that have a small laptop with no 10 key but need it for work/travel. This would take up less space than a full size BT keyboard with a 10key in a laptop bag.

I considered getting something like this but I just got a cheap BT keyboard with a 10key since I only really travel by car for work and the space isnt a big deal.

I was looking through and also found a cheaper Bluetooth (no need USB dongle) num-pad. If you need programmable OP's pad is great. for me I don't need anything else just simple numpad

A friend got me to try putting the numpad on the left side of my keyboard, and it's actually pretty great. Can use the mouse while numbering in Excel.

What I do is a convoluted solution for infinite hotkeys + 10 key. Bought a $7, generic bluetooth keyboard with scissor switches (feels like keys on a laptop) and use AHK and AutoHotInterception to make it a macro board. With AHK, I can detect which applications are open and it'll automatically swap the entire keyboard to the correct set of hotkeys. I'd love to get a board with programmable RGB and light up which keys are 'usable' based on the enabled hotkeys.
