  • This is $80 lower than the next lowest price from a reputable merchant with prices starting from $719.99, and this does not even factor in the value of the SSD (worth ~$169.99).
  • Rated 4.9 out of 5 stars based on over 30 ratings.
  • Please see the original post for additional details & give the WIKI and additional forum comments a read for helpful discussion.

Damn… I don't need a 2TB SSD. Why can Samsung just sell me the monitor cheaper. I would take the monitor for $600 and not have the SSD.

Great deal either way.

Buy One Get One is a bit misleading. More like 'free ssd w monitor'.

Thought it was 2 monitors. Wow that would be a real BF deal we haven't had in a while.

That's the one I'm leaning toward. I hear the internals are the same but the "older" SB doesn't have matte screen which is preferred , but only sort of down side is the mini ports, and lack of image shifting tech to reduce burn in.

I am not seeing the HD being added. Is there any particular page for this deal?

The monitor was on sale for $580 two weeks ago. I'd imagine we'll see that price again next month.

Tempting, but Samsung monitor QC is notoriously bad. Would suck to have the darn thing show problems right outside their 1 year warranty window.

Do you know if OLED monitors will be good for productivity? Will text be sharp and is there greater burn in risk? Thanks in advance

Yep. I'm interested in this but will pay a little more at Costco (if I can get one), for the easy returns.

I can imagine being unhappy with it and having to deal directly with Samsung.
