I'd never played LFD2 until April of last year when my couch co-op friend was borderline offended when he found out. I got the game and all available DLC for Xbox, and we had a blast over several sessions.

An endearing memory that I captured as a video was him picking up a frying pan at the start of a level and going nuts on a few groups of zombies while I tried to support without shooting him. The memory of hearing the pan sound over and over and over still makes me smile.

Note that L4D2 actually includes the L4D campaign, so save yourself another $0.50 and just get L4D2. It's a no BRAAAIIINNNNer at a buck.

I have both but do not remember playing 2. The scenes on the game page do not look familiar. I guess I will have to check it out. I did prefer the Half Life games though.
