The MX Master 2S is really old and has a rechargeable battery...I would not buy any old mouse that relies on a built in battery. I have the 2S and it started losing battery life pretty rapidly only about a year in, now it sits in my closet collecting dust.

Not sure; no; works on most surfaces. Honestly pretty happy w/ it as long as I'm not using it on glass.

Short answer yes...minor keymapping issues which you can overcome with powertoys if I recall versus Logitech software.

Cmd -> Win

Option -> Alt

Control -> Ctrl

Fn+Func# -> Func#
