There is a firmware update via the APP. Also if it dies, plug the wire into both the USB C port and wait for 10 seconds, then press and hold the right button for 10 seconds and then press it again 5 times. Do this until you see 2 eyes - that will confirm it has been reset. This fixes the issue for me.

I snagged one of these bad boys but all my wall chargers are older so they're non-GAN and 65W. Any advice on a new wall charger that will charge it a bit faster than 65W? Thanks!

I carried the previous model with me on the plane and I vowed never to do it again. Way way too much and is way too bulky. If you have a Apple laptop, anyways your battery last two days so whatever.

I bought the 24000 mAh 737 yesterday for $90. Is it worth returning to get this for $10 more?

I'd pay $10 more. I had the 737 and it died in about a year

IS this that bad? It has 4.4 stars on amazon?
Don't trust me.. trust your own research and DD..check reddit ...many folks have said the 737 has much better performance over the Prime. Idk..

I bought this from Woot during the Woot Off for the same price and received it today. Seemed to be new-in-box and work just fine, but it looks like there was an Anker Transparency sticker on it that someone else had covered with a separate white sticker. I tried to peel the white sticker off, but part of the Transparency sticker came off with it and the QR code didn't work. My guess is that a third party vendor bought a ton of these from Anker and couldn't move them, so Woot (or someone else) bought them and covered the Transparency sticker. Shouldn't affect the warranty, but definitely seems a little shady to me

If I recall correctly, this will simultaneously charge through both type C ports

May not be worth springing for a new charger if that's good enough

Unless you need the additional output, the battery isn't that much larger that it seems like it'd be worth it

I appreciate the output only type C port on the 737, because some of my two-way devices get confused as to who should be charging who

I picked this up from Anker direct a week ago with the base for $139.99 and received another $25 cashback from cashback site.

I have read online people saying the hardware dies after 30 cycles. Anker does provides 2 yr warranty so I am holding on to it.

Even if it fails the base is pretty good as a dock.

This thing is heavy. With most planes installing AC outlets as well as usb power at the seat, these just aren't that necessary anymore. It's too big to just be carrying around in a sling or pocket. For those of us using macbook air for the weight savings, this thing weighs twice the difference between a MBA and MBP. Might as well have just gotten the MBP if we wanted the additional battery to lug around.

It weighs 658g / almost 1.5 lbs. Given that every airline seems to be weighing carry-ons, I can't afford this kind of weight between my carry-on luggage weight, my personal laptop, my business laptop (both of which have Nvidia chips so they're not lightweight), my chargers, my portable monitor, and my sundry electrical wires, and USB drives. I used to be able to carry some healthy snacks and a spare change of clothes and bathroom slippers just in case the plane was rerouted or delayed. Now, I just pray all my electronics don't tip my carry-on.

I have the 140W version of this and it works great. I take it with me on every trip.
