I had one of these since January in my Steam Deck and I don't recommend it. It works great for a few minutes but once it heats up, write speeds crawl. For small updates it is fine, but installing a 100gb game file can take 10 hours when it takes 20 minutes to install on the internal drive.

same, i have the 512 version of this. total scam, functionally runs at 20 mb/s when transferring files. also, the max speed is *not* 160 it is 90. buying this made me really appreciate Samsung's 180/150 mb/s which actually stays at that for full transfers (300 gb switch cfw backup)

id urge everyone to stay as far from this card as they can, i have an ssd from this company that works fine but many of their products are terrible scams

While I haven't used this particular card, I have experienced data loss (both obvious and silent) on multiple Team Group drives.

Same with Kingston memory cards, I'll only buy SanDisk in the future.

I've seen multiple SanDisk MicroSD cards fail. In my experience, Samsung is usually the best bet.

Would not recommend team group. I used to have their ram in my gaming PC, it caused a lot of stability issues and system crashes.

I bought one of these cards last November. It was tested with H2testw when received and had an average write speed around 50 and read 65. It was then written with music, vids, books, pics, and only used for read after that. Use was an hour a day maybe 3-4 times per week and I started noticing degradation after about 6 months and in the past month it has rapidly gotten unusable with freezes and buffering. For this comment I pulled it and ran a CrystalDisk test, 1 GiB 2 passes, and sequential Q8T1 read was 27 MB/s and write just under 3 MB/s.

It's doubtful I would buy another one of these and would definitely not use it in a situation where I was writing to the card regularly.

If you wipe the card and rerun h2testw (overwriting the whole thing), it may (temporarily) restore some of its performance.

Got the 512 as well and pretty much same story. Worked okay up to about 300gb then slowed to 1.44" floppy disk speed.

I wouldn't even risk their 1tb.

Company contacted me to get warranty through their website, but not worth the trouble just to get the same card again

I use this on my legion go. Works extremely well and I believe these have lifetime warranty as well. SD cards tend to get hot on legion go, rog ally and steam deck no matter what sd you have.

Avoid this for legion go users.

This card overheats and slows to a crawl when patching any games or loading. Get the Samsung pro series as the card runs much much cooler and works much better.

You do know that the steam deck and legion go are capped at 100mb-150mbsd card right?

Yea, it's just the wait though, and the hating of one's self saying this inevitable line "I should have just gotten the Samsung, FML"
