Wait eastport is actually a decent product or just bc of this price point? Always thought this knockoff of combining Jansport with Eastpak name was just a ploy to capitalize on people who think they're getting a brand name.

No idea the quality but for <8 bucks before tax I will take. I have similar looking Dakine bags they'll fit in with in terms of looks

Definitely a generic brand but seems like decent quality for the price. My last cheap backpack from 2-3 years ago is starting to fall apart so guess it's time for a replacement.

I've picked up several of these different Eastsport packs in different versions at these Walmart clearance prices. The quality and functionality varies greatly depending on which model, but overall they are a decent value for the price and some of them are exceptional values for the price. None of them are going to blow your mind, but several of them are good enough that you will be pleasantly surprised while others will just seem like a good price on a basic backpack.

My daughter has been looking for a backpack to carry her skateboard while at school. This will be perfect. Got the grey one for a couple bucks more. The reviews are excellent, both on Walmart website and on Amazon. Great buy, thanks OP.

I bought a top loader one a year or so ago on a slick deal. It's been great for the beach. Holding up ok. Certainly a cheap bag but gets the job done just fine. Not worried about destroying it.
