Just noticed this one has the NiMH battery, takes longer to charge with 45 min runtime.
The Li battery handles charge quicker with 1 hour runtime.

I have coarse facial hair. It's the best and closest stubble length trimmer I've used. Also least painful, irritation. It works best with dry shaves. Also it misses spots in lower neck area. So I have to clean up with combo of rotary shave and blades with shaving cream . It takes long time to recharge which is semi hassle

I'm probably going to buy this only for the charging cable. JK, but actually this charger is so unique and it's been hard to keep track of. So getting a whole new trimmer and charging cable for 19.99 is a great deal.

Anyway, if you're expecting electric hair clipper level power - you should pass. I suggest this is good for edge trimming and grooming (especially since its size really allows some fine detailing), or keeping a face clean with a daily shave.

Its also only $20, so maybe just give it a shot and you might like it.
Is the pro worth it? I've been using the 1st gen NiMH one blade for years with great results, and was thinking of picking up another to use as my primary and have my old one be my dedicated travel shaver/spare/throw in a bag in case I need to shave in an emergency (i work in Healthcare and need to be clean shaven)

It definitely needs to be dry. It works best after washing your face and drying completely. Probably good for a first shaver, these eliminated razor burn for me, but they aren't as close of a shave. Works well for me every other day or every 2 days.
