Just noticed this one has the NiMH battery, takes longer to charge with 45 min runtime.
The Li battery handles charge quicker with 1 hour runtime.

That's literally the name of the product, and it's 2024..who doesn't have a junk drawer full of charging blocks already?

I have coarse facial hair. It's the best and closest stubble length trimmer I've used. Also least painful, irritation. It works best with dry shaves. Also it misses spots in lower neck area. So I have to clean up with combo of rotary shave and blades with shaving cream . It takes long time to recharge which is semi hassle

Right, too dismissive.
In other words, if it had 2 OneBlades I would buy it for the free accessories, The blades are $10 each usually.
The razor itself is great.

and what is the use case where these are the best at? e.g. if you are the kind of person that has coarse beard and doesn't shave consistently, not during weekends or when busy, etc. can this handle that?

I don't shave every day. I find it works best with the least amount of irritation if I have a few days of growth instead of shaving on consecutive days.

I love the OneBlade so much I bought some for family & friends. I still use a razor blade after using the OneBlade, but only if I want a super close shave. It also saves me money on razor blades, since I no longer use them as often.

So, if I want to leave like 3 day stubble constantly, this isn't right for that?

I can't speak to direct experience towards keeping a slightly longer beard because I use the oneblade to cut as close as possible to my skin. I will say for an edge-style trimmer, it is powerful; both the NiMH versions (cheaper style, as in with this deal) and the lithium-ion powered ones (both the normal and pro).

I've used the blade guard attachments on other models; and I want to say its got about average power powering through my head hair (side burns). Its no where near as powerful as a dedicated hair clipper (like even the low end models from Wahl). When I don't shave for a few days, the trimmer does get caught in the hair and pull (again; no attachments); but its far better than my rotary at not pulling my hair. So I usually shave with a oneblade one day then a rotary the next to "catch up" on having a clean shaven face.

Anyway, if you're expecting electric hair clipper level power - you should pass. I suggest this is good for edge trimming and grooming (especially since its size really allows some fine detailing), or keeping a face clean with a daily shave.

Its also only $20, so maybe just give it a shot and you might like it.

When mine gets too long I use hair clippers on my face first to knock it back and then use the OneBlade.
