Don't know if Kobalt has improved these or not, but I bought one 8-10 years ago and it's pretty janky. Just felt cheap and the mechanism wasn't tight, so the stem of the screwdriver shakes around easily and makes it hard to pinpoint with a screw.

I bought this and their precision screwdriver model and they both have the same issues.

Does anyone know if these are TSA approved. Looking for a set I can carry in my carryon bag for work. I know certain tools they allow you to carry on board, they just have to be a certain length.

I got this the last time it was $10 when they were doing their own version of Prime Days in July. The tools are OK. The case is horrible. Everything will start falling out after you remove/insert the tools and bits a couple times and stretch out the velcro.

I just bought this today. The flexible bit holder is worth $10 and at least initially the ratchet mechanism is not sticky or loose. The case seems useless.
