Note that the 86-inch version is much better for gaming, as it supports HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, 4k @ 120Hz gaming, and VRR. This version is limited to a 60Hz and doesn't support a variable refresh rate (VRR).

This is a major feature for me. I will not ever buy a TV without 120 / 144 native. Thanks for pointing this out. It needs to be a major consideration for potential buyers, I truly believe.

I have 2 Hisense TVs that are both over 5 years old and working great. I have a 2 year old LG which has: broken edge lighting, several stuck pixels, and a lagging/crashing UI.

Decent review on rtings.com. I'd buy this over the Hisense even though it's $50 more due to reliability.

Rather buy a smaller hisense with brighter screen, local dimming and faster framerate.

How much is the 86? Do you have a link? I cannot seem to find it and several of the LG 86" TV's require a Sam's club account to even see pricing..

Never buying another LG TV. My last one lasted 3 years and had bad pixels.

https://slickdeals.net/f/17853552-hisense-55-qd6-4k-tv-costco-239-99?p=173583006#post173583006

What you need to know about similarly priced Hisense models. Whatever model Hisense shills got with local dimming, higher brightness and better refresh rate isn't at this price range for the same screen size so why even bring that up? The only one with similar price is the 75" QD6 which has worse screen and the typical reliability you find with a Hisense budget line. It's $450. That's what I meant with my $50 more comment.

I always wondered why Slickdeals promotes Hisense deals but you rarely see similar priced TCL TVs with the same budget features get promoted. It's obvious this website shills Hisense big time.

Specs show 60hz for the 86" model. What am I missing?

Costco has it for $549 for anyone who's interested. Same 3 year warranty.
