Sony's sound better but Bose fit more comfortably. I keep the Bose strictly for flights, Sony's for day to day use!

These are slightly better than QC45 but if you already have the 45, I'd say not worth the upgrade.

Having to pay $30 more just for black 🙄 is mildly infuriating. (Edit - Costco solves this problem with the SC version in black at $199)

Just had a pair of Sony XB901N headphones snap across the plastic retainer at ear cup hinge - it's a design flaw and probably weak injection mold plastic - broke within 10 months of normal use and Sony is denying my warranty claim for defect saying it's "consequential" physical damage.

Am seeking ANY product other than Sony and looking at these Bose - anybody know if their warranty process acts better than what I just described above?

Not sure why black is more expensive than the other colors. But I managed to get black without paying extra by exchanging my order.

I'll second this opinion! I've tried an older Bose model and thought they were some of the most comfortable headsets. My go to's for sound are my Sony XM series.
